This is a 1980 Austin Mini 1000 in excellent condition. The engine and transmission are in great working condition with no need for repair or renovation. This car contains so much of the original Mini, I would be willing to say it's a great deal for such authenticity. The interior is completely original. Both front and rear seats are in wonderful condition with zero tears or areas of wear. The carpet is in great condition as well. And get this...no external rusting! For purely aesthetic reasons, the following upgrades were done within the past six months: Body Painted Dark Blue / Roof Silver (paint still under warranty through Maaco) Painted Side Mirrors New Front Grill New Bumpers Brighter Halogen Lights New Passenger Side Mirror 12" Mini-Lite Style Wheels Brand New Tires (installed less than a month ago) New Sport-Style Steering Wheel New Wheel Flares and Trim To address an issue with running warm in Arkansas August heat: New 4-core Radiator New High Capacity Water Pump New Blanking Sleeve Below are items not on the car, but original to it and included with it: Original Black Grill Original Steering Wheel Original License Light Case Slightly Used Thermostat Genuine Scottich Wool Blanket (I swear it came with the car from England!)
